Have you noticed the difference between your average, regular coloring work and a well done coloring page or colored pencils drawing? It is simply amazing how much expression, personality, beauty and details one can put into coloring once you obtain some special techniques in using your colored pencils well.
My name is Benjamin Aeilkema and I’m an Illustrator and Artist from The Netherlands. I love creating Artworks with all kinds of materials. One of the beauties of working with colored pencils is that there is so little hassle involved in using them. They give such an easy, consistent and satisfying workflow.
This ever so satisfying workflow may not be your experience right now. Over the past few years I met many people who struggle to bring their coloring skills to the next level. Along with people who never managed to get started with building the right coloring skills, but who still would really love being able to make truly lovely colored pencils drawings.
Do I really have to learn all the art-theory to improve my coloring? That is just so boring and isn’t appealing to me at all. I just want better coloring results without being dragged down by all the over-my-head boring stuff
The thing I don’t like about the courses I’ve tried, is that I only learn follow-along-steps. When I’m done with the project presented, I still can’t apply the techniques to my own work, so I keep getting stuck all the time. Once again needing someone to guide me through the process.
Normally this Art Class is €35, but now for ONLY €10 you instantly gain access to this great Art Class and all of it’s bonuses. Click the button below to start coloring with ease.
Are these images really done with the techniques the Art Class teaches?
Yes for sure, no cheating here.
How long will it take me to go through this course from start to finish?
Going through the video’s and applying what you’ve discovered in the assignments takes the average person 20 – 30 hours.
Did you really do these drawings with affordable colored pencils and on affordable paper?
Yes, definitely and I have the videos to proof it. 🙂 All jokes aside, these drawings were obviously created with various colored pencils and on various of papers. Ranging from very cheap colored pencils and regular paper to mid-range priced paper and colored pencils. All of them affordable.
While the techniques will obviously work on expensive paper and with expensive colored pencils too, I have on purpose avoided those. You won’t see me using expensive Polychromos or Luminance colored pencils on Arches or Saunders Waterford papers as so many courses and tutorials do. This way everyone, regardless of your investment, can enjoy this Art Class. That is why this Art Class is so beneficial to people that only do coloring too.
I really have no interest in learning how to draw, I only want to learn how to color.
You’ve come to the right place. A lot of the Art Class focuses on just coloring, but there are a couple of more artistic projects too. Don’t worry, you can simply skip those.
I’ve made sure that whenever there’s a more artistic project, there’s a pure coloring version of that project too. That way everyone can benefit most from this Art Class.
I’m looking for a method to do a colored pencils drawings really fast, while still looking great.
Sorry, can’t help you here. Colored pencils are what I call a slow medium. It takes time to reach a good result. While my method may save you some time, it still won’t be fast.
When trying to learn to work with colored pencils most methods do require me to press really hard at some point. Fatigue sets in or it was even painful. Is this the case in this Art Class too?
That’s a good question. No, this method does not require you to press really hard. Most of the time the pressure you need to use is very light to moderate. In the final stages and when blending you need to press a bit more firm, but still not hard. When blending firm pressure is applied, but no need to press crazy hard.
For how long will I have access to the Art Class once I purchase it
When you purchase the Art Class you will have lifetime access to the content.
Do I need to be at a certain level to do this Art Class?
This course is suitable for beginners as well as intermediate artists.
To me theory lessons seem really boring and I don’t care too much about knowing all those kinds of things. I just want to be able to make nice artworks. How much of this course is actually theoretical?
I understand your concern of theory being really boring. Quite frankly, it can be – especially when it is presented in a complicated manner. When it is not clear how it applies to the artwork you’re doing it can also be boring or even frustrating.
Now of course I do cover some of the theory behind coloring techniques, but it’s all of practical use. Only approximately 10% of the course is totally focused on theory. You could always choose to skip that part, but you could actually be surprised how useful and helpful this information is….
I want to learn how to work with colored pencils, but don’t want to invest into materials until I know for sure it’s for me.
Well, the good news is that you can complete this entire course with just inexpensive colored pencils and normal paper. Once you know you enjoy working with colored pencils, it is nice to get some different kind of tools, to have some variation in your options.
I cannot draw well myself, but would love to be able to make a nice colored pencils work from an existing drawing. Do I need to be able to draw, to benefit from this course?
All the assignments come with printable sheets, so it is not a problem at all if you can’t draw. If you don’t have a printer, no problem. The Art Class covers how to get a drawing to paper without a printer.
Do I need to be talented to benefit from this Art Class?
You don’t need tons of talent to be amazing. If you follow this Colored Pencils Art Class, your hidden potential will be unlocked. Get ready to amaze yourself and to show off your beautiful artwork to those around you.
